This year was quite a challenge for me, but it was also filled with growth and some pretty cool milestones. I started the year struggling to recover from PTSD, adjust to having a fourth baby, and keep my marriage together – all while surviving the worst financial year of my business.
In April, my life took an amazing turn when I fought and won the battle for my mental health. I also returned to the corporate world and my business – and financially, I’m in the best place that I’ve ever been!
This summer we moved into a beautiful new home, signed Travis up for a select soccer team, sent Chloe on an amazing trip to NYC with her theater class, and a trip to Wisconsin to visit one of her closest friends. We took our first official family vacation to Montana, my husband and I came back from that vacation separated, and spent a couple of months living apart. During the months we lived separately, I was able to focus and work through some of my unresolved issues from my two years of battling with depression and PTSD. I had some tough conversations with God, and returned to church – but more importantly, I returned to my relationship with God. In October, my husband moved back in. We still have problems, and I don’t know how it’s going to turn out, but for the first time in a long time – I feel really good.
Winter has been stressful, hectic, and it has gone by in a blur – but this season has truly been a blessing. We launched my husband’s blog, and I relaunched my own, and Christmas was the perfect high note end this year and this decade.
I’m looking forward to enjoying the next decade, and I’ve already started prepping my vision board and planning to do all the things in 2020.
I wanted to share the love, so I created some planners to help you get organized and put your goals on paper!
